The second season of pbsgreatperformances’ “Taking Note” closes out this week with a feature on tommy_j_mesa, recent Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient! 

Performing works by Lecuona and Debussy, Mesa honors his Cuban and French heritage. Now a faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music, he plans to build his own studio.
