What is a force plate? 🤔

A force plate is a scientific tool used to measure ground reaction forces. It contains built-in sensors that detect subtle changes in electrical resistance when force is applied to the plate. At its core, the force plate captures ground reaction force over time, producing what's known as a force-time curve. From this data, a wide range of performance metrics can be derived.
