We are over 2 weeks into a Republican-created government shutdown. And instead of being hard at work to save health care for millions of families and reopening the government, last Friday, Trump proceeded to fire federal workers across agencies that serve everyday, hardworking people across this country, including the majority of federal workers supporting children with disabilities. Moms are calling a TIME OUT on Republicans.

Republicans control the White House, the Senate, and the House. They have the power to end this shutdown, but instead are pulling political stunts that are harming families and tearing at the fabric of our democracy. Republicans passed sweeping legislation that stole health care from 17 million hardworking people while lining the pockets of their billionaire besties. Republicans in Congress have offered NOT ONE solution to solve the health care crisis that they created. And in fact, President Trump has just vowed to make more cuts to "Democrat" programs.
