🥐 LAST CALL BAKING SOLD TO JUNE COFFEE: James Beard Award finalist + Birmingham-based pastry chef Channah Willis has sold lastcallbaking to junecoffeeco’s Jimmy Truong. Here’s what we know👇

🗽According to a recent report from the bhambizjrnl, Willis has accepted a role as executive chef of an award-winning pastry restaurant in New York City.

🍪Over the course of 3 years, Willis quickly rose to success garnering lines out the door + a slew of out-of-town travelers trekking to try their unique pastries. 

🏆 In 2024, they were nominated and became a James Beard Award finalist in the category of “Emerging Chef” 

To announce the passing of the torch, Willis took to lastcallbaking’s Instagram:
