Three people dressed in Halloween costumes terrorized a family in Alexandria, Virginia, as video showed them banging on the door of their home, making threats and trying to break in. Alexandria police are investigating the incident, which lasted about 10 minutes.

Shayla Whiteside told CBS affiliate WUSA that when the group couldn't get in through the front door, they moved to the back of the house and damaged the fence.
"It's not even a joke gone wrong," she said. "They tried to enter into the home."

She added that her whole family is shaken up, especially her mother, who Whiteside said fears being in the home and doesn't "want to stay there by herself." #Alexandria #virginia
