Mookie Betts didn’t hold back when talking about his teammate Shohei Ohtani, who powered the Dodgers to a 5-1 win in Game 4 of the NLCS and clinched a World Series berth. 🤩⁣

On the mound, Ohtani pitched six scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts. At the plate, he crushed three home runs, one of which might have left the park entirely. His historic night earned him NLCS MVP. 💪⁣

"I can't wait for when I'm older and my kids ask, 'What's the greatest thing you've ever seen in baseball?'" said third baseman Max Muncy. "I can't wait to pull up this game today. That's the single best performance in the history of baseball. I don't care what anyone says. And Ohtani made history in the postseason, becoming the first player ever to hit two home runs as a pitcher, then added a third homer to extend that record. He even hit more homers than the hits he gave up. No pitcher had ever started a game with a leadoff homer, and no one had ever combined three homers as a hitter with 10 strikeouts as a pitcher. For the Dodgers, he’s the first to homer as a pitcher in the postseason and only the second to hit three homers in an LCS-clinching game (joining Hernandez in 2017).
