Y’all… why did the Holy Spirit side-eye my playlist like, “be for real.” 😭

Listen, I love music. Like, deep-cut, producer-at-heart, give-me-a-good-808-and-I’m-gone type love. But lately, I’ve been learning how sneaky sound can be. What we listen to isn’t just entertainment, it’s entry points.

And why am I vibin’ to someone rapping about kewchies, drugs, chaos and three girlfriends before 9AM? Like, be so for real. 😩

I had to check myself. Not out of guilt, but alignment.

Now since we serve a God that doesn’t expect perfection, I approached it differently than I have in the past. Instead of doing that dramatic “DELETE EVERYTHING” move, I’m starting a little series where I replace one song at a time with something that actually feeds my spirit and still knocks.
