✈️🇮🇹 10 Day Italy Itinerary - Sorrento! 📌 this post to save for your planning inspo!

We took a *train* from Rome to Naples for about $30USD / person. Straight out of the train station, we took a cab to Sorrento for $120. We did not pre-plan cabs/ Ubers, we had no issues getting rides!

🛌 Hotel
• Hotel De La Ville Sorrento - loved this place! Sea view, walking distance to downtown shops, across from lemon farm, pool, rooftop, complimentary breakfast. Highly recommend! $515 / night

🐙 Lunch 
• @ristorante_portamarina_seafood - AMAZING! One of our favorite meals of our whole trip. Sit right along the water & enjoy fresh seafood and spritz! Order the grilled octopus :) 

🍝 Dinner 
• Parrucchiano - gorgeous atmosphere!! Very romantic garden in downtown area. I ordered lasagna and it was okay. A bit overpriced and overhyped for the quality since we have had so many other amazing meals! 6.5/10 

🍋 Activities
• make fresh squeezed lemonade at Lemon Tour Experience (they were sadly closed when we were there) 
• walk to Marina Grande to explore the small beach & grab lunch 
• shop at the main storefronts in downtown Sorrento! Great places to grab souvenirs & gifts
• Order a fresh squeezed juice from Sorrento Juice - this juice stand was located in the alleyway between shops. I got orange lemon, it was incredible!! 
• Live music & cocktails at hotel rooftop

We were only in Sorrento for 24 hours before heading to Positano, but wished we had stayed another day. Sorrento has gorgeous beaches that are less packed, it is significantly cheaper, and felt like a private getaway. 🌊
