## Caption

✈️🇮🇹 10 Day Italy Itinerary!! 📌 this post for planning inspo! 

First stop was ROME! We took a red eye flight in business class from JFK —-> Rome by converting credit card points to partner airlines using pointsyeah.com (shout out to Connor for this!!) 

🚗 After landing in Rome, we took an Uber to our hotel. We had no trouble booking the Uber when we landed (we did not prepare rideshare in advance, I don’t think you need to)

🛌 Hotel
• @martispalacerome cute boutique hotel with PERFECT location!! walking distance to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Novana & more. Comfy beds, spacious & clean rooms, welcome espresso, rooftop patio, & complimentary breakfast. $440 USD / night 

🍕 Lunch
• Voglia Di Pizza - this was our first meal in Italy and one of our favorites! By far the best pizza we had on our entire trip, located steps from the Pantheon with great people watching! 
• Pizza In Trevi was lunch on our second day, located right by Trevi Fountain. It was very busy since it is directly in tourism traffic & good but not our best!

🍝 Dinner
• @mama_eat was so good we went back again! Large menu with great gluten free options. I got the carbonara! After dinner, we stopped next door for Gelato 
• Pantha Rei is a secret gem in a romantic alleyway near the Pantheon. We arrived 15 minutes before they opened due to online reviews saying it books very quickly. Arrive before opening to snag a table! I ordered the pesto gnocchi and it was incredible. 

📸 Activities
• Roman Ruins & Colosseum tour - we booked this the day before (we weren’t sure how jet lagged we’d be) on Viator.com. It was a 3 hour private tour with about 12 people, $120USD / person. You can probably find cheaper, our guide was super nice but didn’t talk much, so I wished we had a guide with more knowledge of the history.
• Spanish Steps - Snag a picture at the historic steps shop luxury designer stores all along the streets near the steps. 
• Burghese Gardens - beautiful garden to rent bikes in! 
• Trevi Fountain - go first thing in the morning to beat the crowds! 

Next stop… SORRENTO! 🍋
