Today we join the collective celebration of World Oceans Day🌊🩵

Oceans cover more than 70% of the Earth’s surface, and their health is key to the resilience of our planet. While this month is a time to enjoy the bounty and beauty that our oceans provide, it also gives us a moment to make impactful commitments that support the health of our waters.

Kelp farming is our way of doing our part to grow a zero-input crop that improves ocean health while also mobilizing coastal communities to take ownership of their own climate futures. We work to help restore faith in our food systems, and we hope our small contribution can inspire bigger systemic change.
