This is Clay, my beautiful spunky  black kitten with funniest personality and these were his adorable antics last Christmas as a 3 month old kitten.  Oh my goodness, we adore this cat. Today is National Black Cat Appreciation Day and here is our PSA supporting these magnificent creatures 🐈‍⬛

The only scary thing about black cats are the statistics that surround them and the stereotypes that keep them from being adopted. 

Every year, thousands and thousands of black cats (and black dogs) face a heartbreaking fate in shelters across the country. Despite being just as loving, playful, and loyal as their colorful counterparts, they are the least adopted and most frequently euthanized. Shocking statistics show that about 74.6% of black cats in shelters are at risk of being put down due to low adoption rates.
I’d like to encourage all of my friends, family, and followers to consider opening their hearts and homes to these misunderstood felines.  I promise you, you will be so glad that you did 🥰
