As we inch towards the weekend, I always like to plan one nice meal at home. Note: “nice” doesn’t mean complicated. It’s just sort of a restaurant-worthy replacement (because I seriously love dining out so much!) that can be enjoyed at home with a nice bottle of wine. If you’re looking for an easy, flavorful, foolproof recipe that always hits the mark, the answer is Milanese.

You can use chicken or pork, whichever you prefer, but *highly* recommend topping it with a light, crisp arugula and fennel salad.

The combo is juicy, yet crunchy, feels light, but is truthfully so satisfying, and it’s easier to make than you might think.
