Every weekend our Team Belgium athletes walk the talk. Swipe to catch our best performances of the weekend. 

1️⃣ Top-notch weekend for Belgian judo. Jorre Verstraeten grabbed 🥉 for the second week in a row, following up his Lima success with another podium in Guadalajara, 🇲🇽. 🥋

2️⃣ One day later, Gabriella Willems made it double 🥉 for Belgium. On her return to competition, the Olympic medalist wasted no time getting back on the podium. 🥋

3️⃣ Roos Vanotterdijk keeps raising the bar. In Westmont 🇺🇸, she collected 3 🥉🥉🥉 medals and broke 3 national records on the 100m medley, 50m backstroke, and 100m butterfly. 🏊‍♀️

4️⃣ Lucas Henveaux reached three finals in the 200m, 400m, and 800m freestyle, and shattered the 800m national record with a time of 7:34.51. 🏊‍♀️

5️⃣ Florine Gaspard added her own sparkle to the pool with 🥉 in the 50m breaststroke and a top-7 finish in the 50m freestyle. 🏊‍♀️

6️⃣ Over to Jakarta 🇮🇩, where Glen Cuyle started the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in style. After his Olympic top-8 and World Cup gold in Paris, he’s now into the rings final with a 7th-place qualification. 🤸‍♂️

7️⃣ Jumping history in Oslo . Jules Van Hoydonck topped the CSI5* Grand Prix for the first time in his career with Minte vd Bisschop. 🐎

8️⃣ And it didn’t stop there. Nicolas Philippaerts kept the winning momentum going, taking victory in the 5⭐ Grand Prix of Tryon 🇺🇸 with Gadget Mouche. 🐎

9️⃣ Another box checked for Lara de Liederkerke, winning Mondial du Lion, with Tara van het Leliehof, adding another title to her amazing palmares. That’s number 21 of the season! 🐎

🔟 Mixed feelings on the ice. At the second Short Track World Tour in Montreal 🇨🇦, Hanne Desmet’s top-6 finish in the 1000m was the Belgian highlight of the weekend. ⛸️

1️⃣1️⃣ And finally, a breakthrough moment. Hanne Vandewinkel, once part of Team Belgium at EYOF Baku 2019, captured her first-ever WTA 125. Big things are coming. 🎾
