Dozens of journalists have just surrendered their Pentagon badges and walked out rather than sign Pete Hegseth’s authoritarian “pledge” restricting their reporting. 🗞️🔥

“It’s sad, but I’m proud of the press corps that we stuck together,” said Nancy Youssef of The Atlantic, who’s reported from the Pentagon for 18 years.

👉 40–50 reporters from ABC, CBS, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and even Fox News refused to bow to censorship — choosing the First Amendment over access.

The so-called “pledge” would have forced them to give up their right to investigate, question, or publish anything not pre-approved by the MAGA-run Defense Department.
