Each #Pinktober — the popular name for Breast Cancer Awareness Month — many wear pink in support of the cause. Good intentions aside, however, there’s so much more! 

The overarching goal of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to spread the message about the disease and promote behaviour change for early detection of breast cancer, advocate for improved access to care, and honour persons with lived experience.
