Hale County High School students and staff are in mourning today after one of their own was killed Sunday evening.

In a letter posted to social media Monday morning, Hale County High School did not name the student but said "(The student) was a beloved member of our school community, known for his kindness, enthusiasm and bright spirit. This is an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are broken."
