Yesterday, the Deering Estate Foundation hosted Florida State Senator Alexis Calatayud, Florida State Representative omarblancofl and other invited guests for a presentation of a State of Florida legislative appropriation of $600,000 for renovations of the Deering Estate Educational Pavilions.

The renovated pavilions will provide space and resources for scientific and environmental research, community educational opportunities, and field study programming for children.
