This year for Menstrual Hygiene Day, we’re joining the collective action to ensure that menstruation does not limit access to education, health, or opportunity.💫

In the U.S. alone, appx. 1 in 5 young students miss school due to a lack of period products or information.📚 Stigma and poor education play a big part in this reality, as do financial barriers.💸

For us, a tangible initiative has always been to reimburse the Tampon Tax wherever/whenever you’ve had to pay it when purchasing August products. Luckily, 2 more states recently just abolished this unfair sales tax, bringing the total number down to 19‼️ 

That being said, if you live in 1 of the 19 states still not recognizing period products as ‘essential goods’, we urge you to switch to August products and claim your refund at TamponTaxback.com✍️

In collaboration with legal groups like periodlaw, advocacy groups like periodmovement and other period product companies who have joined our #TamponTaxback initiative, we’re optimistic that we can bring down the Tax once and for all, for everyone who gets a period.🩸
