Asiyah’s Mental Health Series Presents: The Nervous System: The Importance of Self-Regulation and Self-Compassion (Virtual + RSVP link in bio)✨

In this workshop, Carmen Ines Ramos, LMHC, CCTP, will focus on how the nervous system is affected by fight-flight-freeze-and-fawn. Participants will learn how to self-regulate through the body’s natural response to heightened stress or threats while exploring how building a compassionate voice can be a beautiful tool towards self-empowerment. This session aims to help participants normalize their body’s natural reaction to stress, learn the importance of reconnecting with the body to self-soothe and rebuild their sense of control by redefining their story through a compassionate lens.
