This one’s another hidden gem. I stumbled on“Tanya the Evil,” a few years ago and it is worth checking out.

The concept is wild - a ruthless salaryman is reincarnated into a young girl in a magical alternate world. But it’s the characters and world-building that really make this show stand out. Tanya, the protagonist, is a total badass with a tactical mind that will leave you in awe.

The action scenes are pretty damn epic, and the animation quality is on point. But just like any show, “Tanya the Evil” isn’t perfect. There are some pacing issues, and some of the supporting characters could use more fleshing out. But overall, “Tanya the Evil” is a refreshing change of pace from your typical anime tropes.

In a nutshell, if you’re looking for an anime that’s off the beaten path, “Tanya the Evil” is definitely worth a watch. It’s cinematic, it’s cool, and it’s a hidden gem that you won’t want to miss out on.
