There are a lot of good recs in here… probably my absolute number 1 from this list (hard to pick) is Code Geass. If you haven’t seen this masterpiece it’s a fairly short 25 episode banger with some of the best story in any anime. There’s actually zero filler episodes you’re pretty much guaranteed to love it.
