This is my absolute favorite comedy of all time. If you haven’t seen it, it was the breakout movie for THREE separate major Hollywood  actors: Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, and Michael Cera. Superbad is the perfect depiction of the millennial experience trying to go to a party in Highschool (for the US specifically because every other country can drink legally at that age 🥱). What about the science? If you’re wondering what kind of science we’re talking about, this is Lovefilm’s 2021 study where they sat down participants and showed them each a series of funny movies. They then recorded how many times each participant laughed and averaged them for each of the movies. This movie got the fourth most laughs at 1.9 laughs per minute.
