Girls and young feminist leaders are often underestimated in traditional philanthropy.  There’s a persistent assumption that youth-led groups cannot absorb large grants. 
 
But we know that the opposite is true: flexible, long-term funding is EXACTLY what youth-led groups need to build capacity, organize and grow sustainably. 
 
That’s why since 2017, Global Fund for Women has directed over $3.9M in grants to girl-led and girl-centered organizations in 48 countries around the world. When we invest in girls with long-term resources, we create a more equal, just, and hopeful world for everyone. 💜
