A few things:
I’ll say it forever…teachers are incredible. I’m not too far removed from it all, but managing kids in the wilderness is no joke. It reminded me of the time we almost left a 6th grader at the zoo — oops🫣. 

On a rainy, cold day, I saw (more than one teacher) give their jacket to a child who came unprepared & cold. It’s the little things. 
I resigned last year after 16 years of teaching —and a big perk is being able to attend a field trip (first timer with my own kiddo 🥹) create a core memory, and still attend to my own work. 
Rounding out on a year out of the classroom — ask me anything about that or the vlog❤️
