The thing is…I already know the baby is getting everything he needs because he has her as a mom.

But mom is the one who needs extra love navigating a phase that feels familiar & unfamiliar. Perfectly certain & uncertain. Undefeated & defeated. Motherhood is all the feelings, but new motherhood is all of it at once. So we never put mom last.
