Did you know in the 19th century blue was assigned to GIRLS as it was seen as dainty, while pink, seen as a stronger color, was assigned to boys. 

Later, girls were reassigned with pink because it was close to red, a romantic color, and women were seen as more emotional. 🤔🤔🤔

Gendered color norms may seem like no big deal, but adhering to them sends a strong message as to how we view the capabilities of men vs. woman.
