When we are conditioned to believe alcohol is a primary source of enjoyment, stress relief, and celebration, it’s hard to picture a vacation without it. For years, I’d never experience this…

Until I made the hard and fast choice to cut it out. My vacations give me so much more soul filling energy, and I come home refreshed and ready to face the things perhaps I was escaping momentarily.

Vacation now does for me what vacation is meant to do. 🏝️☀️
