Our next #WhyMoody feature is senior academic advisor, Reginald Deal. 

Reginald had been with Moody College for two years. Before his time at Moody, Reginald worked for five years in the Disability Services Office at Texas State University, almost five years as an advisor at Lamar University and nearly two years of work in student programming at North Lake College.

He was motivated to join #TEXASMoody because he enjoyed the various majors offered, the accessibility by public transportation and its high rating within the University.

Reginald’s favorite part of working at Moody is helping students make difficult decisions, as well as the supportive and helpful team he works with.

His advice for students is to have an open mind and consider your possibilities after graduating. “Be open to feedback and ideas and think of the various ways you could get to where you want to be in life.”
