FEATURE FRIDAY // It’s #FeatureFriday with new bostonballet2  member Zoe Cartier! 

Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Zoe began dancing at age 4. She started her training at Master Ballet Academy. 

⭐️ Favorite role you’ve performed: Russian Girl in Serenade, I was so full of joy and freedom the entire time 
🍿 Favorite dance movie: Wendy Wehlan: Restless Creature
🕺Favorite Choreographers: Sir Fredrick Ashton, George Balanchine, and Crystal Pite 
🎼 Favorite ballet & score: My all-time favorite ballet is Manon, and my favorite score is from Jerome Robbin’s Glass Pieces. 
👣 Favorite dance step: Petite allegro 
☕️🍊 Favorite midday snack: I love a coffee and an orange to pick me up mid-day! 
🎒 Essential item in your dance bag: A golf ball to roll out my arches! 
️🎧 Can't live without: Spotify and my headphones! 
✈️ Best place ever traveled to: Yellowstone, Montana 
🪄 Superpower wish: Teleportation 
☕️ Go-to coffee shop order: A black iced americano! 
👯‍♀️ Dream Dance Partner: Gene Kelly 
🍒 Guilty pleasures: Cherry Slushies 
🧶 Other pursuits outside of dance: I like to read, crochet, and spend time at museums.

✨ Who inspired you to dance: Sylvie Gulliem has always been my biggest inspiration! 
♥️ Advice for aspiring dancers: Always be open to learn! Take all the information and knowledge you can get, it will only help you! 
🩰 Dance and Music is: everything to me. I do not think one can exist without the other. 
⭐️ Why Boston Ballet: Boston Ballet has such exciting repertoire that I am so excited to learn and experience.
