Carson Wentz may be playing himself out of the NFL.

The former #2 overall pick of the Eagles in 2016 had a strong start to his career.

In his first 4 seasons in Philly, he won 57% of his games, made the playoffs 3 times and got himself a Super Bowl ring.

But in 2020, it all started going wrong.

He was traded by the Eagles in 2021 after going 3-8-1 in 12 starts and is now with his 6th team in 6 years.

📈 First 4 years - 32-24 (57%)
📉 Last 6 years - 17-26 (39%)

He actually went 9-8 with the Colts in 2021, but losses to the Raiders and Jags to close the season cost them a playoff spot and Wentz a place on the roster.

He followed that by going 2-6 in Washington in '22.

Even while playing for a Super Bowl-bound Chiefs last season, he still lost 38-0 in the 1 game he started.

The Vikings won 14 games last season and had all the makings of a contender this year.

But they're just 2-3 under Wentz, with those only 2 wins coming via the Bengals and Browns.

If he can't turn the team's fortunes around in a hurry, he'll almost certainly be playing for a 7th team next season...if he's lucky.
