Sometimes God’s greatest lessons come through our moments of disappointment. 

After just missing the podium at the 2024 Olympic Games, I could’ve let frustration define my story but instead, I chose faith over frustration. I believed that even in the midst of the storm, there was a testimony being written. 🙏🏽

Fast forward one year later, and I’m standing on the World Championship podium with a silver medal in the 400m a reminder that God’s timing is always perfect. His “not yet” doesn’t mean “never.”

Visiting the schools across my hometown —
Vessigny Secondary, Guapo Primary, Cap-de-Ville Primary, Fanny Village Primary, Point Fortin West Secondary, Point Fortin East Secondary, Point Fortin ASJA, Point Fortin Anglican Primary, Point Fortin Roman Catholic Primary, Point Fortin SDA Primary, Egypt Village Primary, and Holy Name Convent Point Fortin — reminded me that our stories aren’t just for ourselves. They’re for the next generation watching, learning, and believing.

Even in our shortcomings, there are lessons, strength, and purpose being built. 
So to every young person I met keep going, keep believing, and trust that God’s plan is bigger than your pain. 

Special thanks to the pt_fortin_borough Point Fortin Borough Corporation and every school that welcomed me and allowed me to share my testimony. Your warmth reminded me that faith, perseverance, and community can turn trials into triumphs. ❤️🇹🇹
