Flashback to my first competition with worldlongdrive in 2019 🏌🏽‍♀️ Funny story, the only division that there was the Open division and in my mind, the Open division was for everyone like in CrossFit i.e. the Open. So I signed up online and when I got there in person, I didn’t see any other women. I thought maybe I was a little early, which I was, but ended up asking some staff and come to find out, there were only two other women that had signed up, but had backed out realizing there was only men competing. I had paid for my registration and had made a trip all the way to Yucca Valley and thought well I might as well still hit. So when my time was up, I went up and hit with the guys. I was nervous as hell but ended up hitting a PR of 329 yards that day.
