It's that time of the year when #futuresundevil students are preparing for their first year at ASU — and the #ASUAdulting team has put together this handy list of things to do before your first year of college. 🎒

🤝 Meet your roommate. Already know them? Then start a conversation on who is bringing what, what to expect for the upcoming semester, etc. 

🗓 Know your schedule. Once you’ve registered for classes, you can start planning how you’ll spend your days. 

🏡 Make time for your family. Your parents will appreciate these precious memories.

💰 Build your budget. The summer is the perfect time to start planning your finances for the school year.

🤳 Polish your profiles. You’re starting fresh in school, why not start fresh on your social media sites? 

🧺 Learn some adulting basics. Take a few moments to address what you know and what you don’t know (like doing your own laundry, managing your time, and many other topics).

✅ Set your future goals. Spend some time thinking about what you want from your college experience. Write down your personal, financial and career goals, and start thinking about how you’re going to work toward them.
