On Monday, we told you about ASU's collection of over 300 palm trees on campus. But, #DYK ASU has the largest date palm collection of any public garden in the country?? 🔱

The entire Arizona State University Tempe campus is a designated arboretum. The campus is an oasis of plants from around the world! 🌍

Students can gather and harvest dates from our palm trees to add to any type of food. Dates go great in salads, sandwiches, on charcuterie boards, and so much more. Because ASU has over 40 date palm varieties, we are able to produce hundreds, if not thousands, of dates per year! ☀️ 🌴
