## Caption

The James Turrell ASU Skyspace: Air Apparent is such an interesting piece of architecture on ASU's Tempe campus. It's located near “three of the most sophisticated science facilities on Earth,” and allows for universal, 24/7 access.

Once you're inside the space, you focus on the circular opening above through a floating steel plane. Above you, there are 480 LED color-changing light fixtures. Programmed by Turrell, these light fixtures optimize sunrise and sunset viewer experiences of light and color perception.

Skyspace is meant to be an oasis of calm for anyone who chooses to visit, and it's an amazing feature for students! Have you checked it out yet?
