For Cindy Rogel Bahena, pursuing higher education at Arizona State University meant she could one day realize her dream of becoming a role model for future engineers and better the lives of others through her skills and knowledge. 

The path to success wasn't easy — Bahena held two to three jobs each semester and studied hard to maintain good grades — but with encouragement from her family to pursue her academic goals, and support from one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive engineering schools @asuengineering, Bahena persevered and is proud to be named Outstanding Undergraduate.

Her story was part of spring 2021 Hispanic Convocation at ASU, an exciting event commemorating the accomplishments and successes of ASU's Hispanic students pursuing higher education. 🔱
