Protecting The Tradition🐉 

Saturday brought the Dragons 2022 football season to a close. Southlake faced Denton Guyer, and ultimately was not able to over come the WildCats offense. The final score fell to 21-45. Even if the Dragons did not make it to the state title, it marked yet another successful and impressive season for the boys in green. From the record setting Owen Allen, to the Wyoming QB committee, Kaden Anderson, this senior class will be heavily missed. Next year looks to be hopefully already though, as the prominent and young offense players like Jacob Jordan, Clayton Wayland, Caden Jackson, and Harrison Moore, will all be returning to take one last stab at the State title. These boys have a lot to be proud of, and following this team for a 5th season couldn’t have been more perfect. My heart broke a little as the time hit 0:00, knowing this was my last game too. Although I never in a million years thought I’d be working for my own alma-mater high school, being  the team photographer for my home town team was a bittersweet experience, and I loved getting to watch my best friends for one more year.  No one supports or lifts me and my work up the way the Dragon boys and parents do.  Dragon Stadium will always be my starting point . I can’t wait to see the great things that come for this incredible staff and team. I don’t know when I’ll be back but until then... Go protect that tradition boys 🐉🐉🐉
