My gym sessions, postpartum in this season of life, sure are different than what I’m used to😅🏋🏾‍♀️ I definitely miss the days where I could wake up super early and hit the gym before the morning rush and be home, showered & eating while the rest of the world was just getting their day started☀️ Nowadays, with two babies, two and under 👧🏽👶🏾, and a husband that’s a Trooper👮🏿‍♂️🚔 (shoutout to heelsandholster for making content about us LEO wives 😂🙌🏾), I have to get it in when I can!🤷🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️And currently, this calls for some super late night visits🌖After getting Madison ready for bed & fitting in my last pumping session💦.. No excuses. No matter what it takes, by the grace of God, it’s going to get done💪🏾🔥

My encouragement to new moms? Take your time. Give yourself grace. Do what YOU’RE comfortable with and what works for YOU. Don’t be pressured by the “SnapBack” culture because, let’s be honest, it doesn’t exist! A lot of us have sacrificed our bodies for 2+ years (pregnancy & breastfeeding) for each of our children— A whole blessing! Working out should feel good— physically AND mentally. Don’t overwhelm yourself. Be consistent with taking those small, disciplined steps. Just like we ask God for help in every other area of motherhood, don’t feel like you can’t ask Him for strategies/wisdom when it comes to your physical health as well♥️
