Because I knew who held my future in His hands.

People often ask me this, and I understand why. At 18 my whole world shifted in an instant but my spirit didn’t. I was young, full of life, and I believed that God was still writing my story.

There are hard days. Days where the pain, the limitations, or the what ifs feel heavy. But I learned that life is not about waiting for everything to be perfect, it is about choosing joy, choosing faith, and choosing to keep moving forward anyway.

My personality helps too. I don’t dwell on yesterday and I don’t waste today worrying about tomorrow. With God, my family, my friends, and my own drive for life, I am still here thriving, dreaming, and excited for what is ahead.

If you are in a season where giving up feels easier, I want you to know your story is not over either. With faith, support, and the courage to take life one day at a time, you can keep moving forward too. 💛
