When our athletes set the world on fire, our keyboard can barely keep up. Swipe to relive this weekend! 

1️⃣ Just 2 years after her first world crown (-62kg) and 1 year after Olympic bronze (-67kg), Sarah Chaari claimed her 2nd world title at the Taekwondo World Championships in Wuxi 🇨🇳, this time in the -73kg category. 🥋

2️⃣ Belgium ended the Track Cycling World Championships in Santiago 🇨🇱 with a bang 💥. Lindsay De Vylder and Fabio Van den Bossche dominated the Madison from start to finish, striking 🥇 and bringing the title back to Belgium after 13 years. 🚴‍♂️💨

3️⃣ One day before, Lindsay fought his way to 🥉 in the omnium. After an all-out solo attack in the elimination race and a late surge in the points race, he secured his place on the podium. 🚴‍♂️

4️⃣ The Hesters siblings kept the Belgian vibe alive in the non-olympic elimination race. While Hélène struck 🥉, Jules, who nearly had bronze in his hands, finished 6th after a protest reshuffled the standings. 🚴‍♂️

5️⃣ Comeback kid Shari Bossuyt came close 3 times. 4th in the omnium, 4th in the team pursuit with Katrijn De Clercq, Luca Vierstraete & Hélène Hesters (NR 4'15"489), and 4th in the Madison with De Clercq. 🚴‍♀️

6️⃣ Over to Jakarta 🇮🇩, Lisa Vaelen flew to a fantastic 4th place on vault at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. Just 0.117 shy of the podium, her best Worlds result ever. 🤸‍♀️

7️⃣ Glen Cuyle wrapped up his Worlds with a solid 7th place on rings, matching the same strong position as in the qualifications. 🤸‍♂️ 

8️⃣ In the final leg of the Swimming World Cup season, Florine Gaspard won gold in the 50m breaststroke in Toronto 🇨🇦, setting a new Belgian record of 29”48

9️⃣ Roos Vanotterdijk added 2 more highlights of her own: 🥉in the 100m butterfly and a new Belgian record in the 200m individual medley (2’05”81), finishing 4th. 🏊‍♀️

🔟 Noah Verreth closed the weekend, setting a new national record in the 50m backstroke with 23”71 at the Dutch Qualifier in Rotterdam, 🇳🇱. 🏊‍♂️
