REGRETTING YOU  a film based on the best selling novel by colleenhoover is opening today in theatres and I couldn’t be happier for mckennagraceful MasonThames #AllisonWilliams #SamMorelos #DaveFranco and the rest of that amazing cast and crew.

However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t say a massive cheer for brunsonG the producer and my dear friend of nearly 30 years.

Funny story: About 20 years ago my car died and I spent weeks researching what I thought was a good deal on a pre-owned one. The day finally came for me to test drive and hopefully take it home. I asked Brunson to drive me to the dealership which was about 45 minutes away. He decided to wait with me until we were sure I was actually making a purchase.

We got there and kicked the tires together. I was in love but B kept muttering under his breath that it was way overpriced. The dealer knocked it down by 1200!! I. Was. Thrilled. We go to the office to finalize the deal. B was still unhappy with the price so the guy ran my credit and said we could probably get it down another 1200 since I was financing. B negotiated it down another 1800 but before we shook on it, the rep made a big deal about running it all by his manager. 

When he came back into the office with his manager’s approval on the final, out the door price, B took out his check book. The sales rep’s face went pale. He (and I) had assumed that I’d be financing, but B had his own plan. He knew I’d save money making payments I could afford to him each month. I did, of course. So here’s to having long friendships you never regret.
