We were honored to take part in this year’s Arpino Dance Festival, presented by The Gerald Arpino Foundation arpinofoundation and The Joyce Theater thejoycetheater , a remarkable celebration of Gerald Arpino’s enduring artistry and vision.

Coinciding with our own Legacy Week, this festival deepened our reflection on the lasting impact of both Gerald Arpino and Robert Joffrey, whose groundbreaking partnership continues to inspire generations of dancers.

Throughout the festival, dancers across the city had the opportunity to learn from incredible Legacy Faculty: Trinette Singleton, Meg Paul, and Nicole Duffy, whose teaching embodied the technique, spirit, and artistry that define the Joffrey and Arpino tradition.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every dancer who participated with such passion and curiosity. Our Joffrey Ballet School Trainees were also fortunate to witness Valentine, one of Arpino’s most beloved works, both in-studio and during dress rehearsal, with our Dean, Meg Paul, serving as répétiteur. Experiencing this piece firsthand was a moving reminder of the legacy that continues to live and breathe in our studios.

Honoring the past. Inspiring the future. The legacy lives on in every dancer, every class, and every stage that carries the spirit of Joffrey and Arpino forward.
