## Caption

After a video of my dog swimming went viral, I've had many requests to share pool design specifics. This is the second pool I've designed and have some must have design, decor and safety features as a mom of seven. 

DESIGN:
☀️18' x 30' rectangle 
☀️3 exits for children are a must, including one entire length of the pool that is an extended Baja shelf for kids and pets. 
☀️ @pebbletec interior in a deeper blue
☀️Travertine Tile in Alaskan Sky 
☀️ @pentair GloBrite LED lights for a color changing light show
☀️Four fountains and 4 bubblers 

SAFETY 
🛟Aluminim, auto-locking fence around the perimeter of our yard . 
🛟Pool alarm camera 
🛟 Until fairly recently, we had a mesh fence on the immediate border of the pool. The youngest of my seven children are 8 and 9 and regular guests (nephews) can all swim now. (We kept it up until my youngest was 5 although they all swam at 2.) 
🛟 As a former lifeguard, I prefer the 5ft border fence we had to the pool cover because of animals/kids getting stuck under cover or believing it to be walkable. 
🛟 When my kids were babies and toddlers, I had 5 barriers to pool... home door alarms, an auto-locking gate from our steps to pool, the mesh fence around the pool, a pool alarm in the pool and an exterior yard fence. (I had five kids under age 6.) 

DECOR
🌴 @ledgelounger pool chairs for Baja shelf. These actually survived the hurricane after being submerged in pool then thrown against home in surge. 
🌴Ledge Lounger Ping Pong Table (hurricane survivor) 
🌴Patio recliners also survived 
🌴Walmart Better Homes & Gardens pieces look like Serena and Lily but fraction of the cost. 
🌴Umbrellas are Wayfair and Serena and Lily. I like the Serena ones better but they are so expensive so prefer the Wayfair ones for cost. 
🌴Pool storage for toys 
🌴End tables that double as coolers 
🌴Misting fan 
🌴 @funboy makes the best pool rafts, floats and kiddie pools.
