 🇮🇹 Comment “links” for travel, tour and outfit info for Rome.

✨We used travel agent, kimberly.watkins@cruiseplanners.com , who partnered with @kensingtontours to plan this entire trip. We stayed at @innatthespanishsteps and highly recommend it. It’s in a great location, easy to walk to many sites, amongst high-end shopping and so many restaurants. 

✨Even though you can wear sandals to tour, I’d recommend sneakers because the cobblestone is uneven and there’s a lot of dirt in the ruins so your feet get dirty. Mine are linked on LTK 

✨I would NOT take my kids on the ancient tours. It’s very hot, long, lots of walking and boring for them I would think. These are fairly physically demanding with a lot of stones and steps. 

✨Crossbody bags are the best because of pick pockets. I linked my Free People one, and the Amazon inspired version, on LTK. 

✨ Our cooking class was with @fabiolouscookingday and we handmade three pastas. They do different types of foods and walking tours of regional Italian foods 

✨Our private tour guide was part of the package but I’d invest in one. We used one for roughly four hours a day to see the sites. They’re able to skip lines, take short cuts, give you the history and customize the experience if you want more or less of the city. 

✨Be prepared for A LOT of smoking and penises in art since they felt big parts brought good luck. 

✨Throw one penny into the Trevi Fountain for good luck, two to meet an Italian lover and three to forget your Italian lover.
