Brenda's Organizing Tips 

Not everyone will reach the level of my sister's organizational mastery but here are her tips on how to get started and maintain a system that works. 

1️⃣ Start with the area in your home that is the busiest or bothers you the most. She suggested laundry room/ mudroom or kitchen. 

2️⃣ Keep labeling consistent. Most of hers now are preprinted stickers from Amazon that I put in my "Brenda's Home" Amazon store. 

3️⃣ Tackle the entire room from top to bottom that way every drawer, cabinet and closet has a space designated for what you need. When you do this, it's easier for kids to put things away because everything has a home. 

4️⃣ Maintenance is 15 minutes a day.. just putting things back where they belong, refilling, straightening, tidying. 

5️⃣ Twice a year she'll do a "zone refresh" where she'll go through kids' closets, donate what doesn't fit, make sure system is working or redo it if it's not what she likes. 

6️⃣ She relies heavily on a lot of Amazon type products and hacks so I literally took her phone and copied everything she's ordered and put it on my Amazon store so you can copy what she uses.
