I needed more days... I wasn't ready to leave... Hawaii was so good to my family! 

When I planned this trip, I had no idea where to go or what to do... but all of the right people and experiences fell into place!  If you're adding Hawaii to your vision board or are planning a repeat trip, I recommend the following... 

🌸 Oahu and Turtle Bay Resort. We chose Oahu because of the outdoor adventure opportunities for families and the resort because it was in a more secluded, less touristy part of the island. We booked a family villa through @oceanfrontturtlebay . 

🌸 Waimea Valley Falls. This was a comfortable family hike with paved paths that ended at a beautiful waterfall that you can swim to. 

🌸 The Stables at Turtle Bay. We toured Turtle Bay's coastline on horseback and saw where Pirates of the Caribbean and The Hunger Games were filmed. Rainbows appeared overhead after a light misting rain and turtles popped their heads up out of the ocean as we rode by. 

🌸 @sealifepark . Learn about animal conservation and behavior at this educational center. The park is unique in that it pumps 12 million gallons of fresh sea water into the habitats every day. 

🌸 @alohakailuau at Sea Life Park . This Polynesian dinner performance is not only entertaining but interactive and educational! We leaned so much about the Polynesian islands and their cultures. 

🌸 @kualoaranch  Tour this breathtaking, coastal mountain landscape by ATV, e-bike or horse!  See where Jurassic Park movies, Jumanji and King Kong were filmed while taking in the most beautiful scenery. 

💗 Lanikai Beach. Consistently named one of the top beaches in the world for its clear, turquoise waters and calm waters, this is a great place to spend 2-3 hours. We did this after the ranch to wash off the dust! 

🌸 @ohanasurfproject . So much fun that we did it TWICE. by the request of our children! The instructors felt like friends and their patience with our big family was much appreciated!! Their videos and photos gave us memories to remember forever. 

We rented a car and just drove to the sites and back each day!
