Congratulations to Venice Elementary School fourth-grader Isla Mullery and fifth-grader Harper Shroyer, who won the City of Venice’s annual Florida City Week poster contest at their school. 🎨🖌 

Under the guidance of Art Teacher Heather Young, students drew to the theme, “My City, I’m Part of It, I’m Proud of It.” 

Isla and Harper won a pizza party for their classes Wednesday, and received framed certificates from City Public Information Officer Lorraine Anderson. Their family members were also on hand to surprise them. Their wonderful artwork will be installed at City Hall. Well done Isla and Harper!
