Imagine a world without unnecessary single-use plastics…

In Chile, that world is slowly becoming reality. Since 2021, a groundbreaking law has been transforming how food and drinks are served—phasing out single use plastic straws, cutlery, and takeout containers, and making reusables an everyday choice. ♻️

But progress isn’t guaranteed. There’s pressure to roll back parts of the law, which could return 23,000+ tons of plastic waste to cities and beaches every year.

Communities, policymakers, and organizations like Oceana_chile are standing firm to protect this law. Because healthy oceans, thriving wildlife, and cleaner cities depend on it. 💙

📢 Every voice counts. Show your support for #PlasticFreeSeas and help keep this momentum going!
