The uwomvb served up an impressive opening night win for the 2025-26 season on Friday night.

A three set sweep of the Guelph Gryphons came on set wins of 25-21, 25-21 and 25-20. Cade Smith led the Mustangs with 13 kills, followed by Oliver Toomes with 8. Michael Jones was on fire at the service line with 3 aces and Kendall Homenic has 3 blocks.

The Mustangs and Gryphons return to action at Alumni Hall Saturday night, game time is set for 8:00pm.
