25 years ago today, in Monte Carlo, the German city of Duisburg was chosen to host The World Games 2005. 🇩🇪✨

With 30+ non-Olympic sports and over 3,000 athletes, the event gave Duisburg a fresh new face during its transformation. The World Games 2005 were a milestone still remembered by many locals today. 💫
